Wrinkles

They say that wrinkles signify intelligence and wisdom, but chances are most people would still prefer not to have them.

Fortunately today, skin care products are overwhelmingly promoted and marketed all throughout the world. It has gained a significant amount of popularity over the recent years. Different brands and procedures promise and claim to reduce wrinkles. Some may do little; others may accomplish a fair amount of change.

Amazingly, people nowadays tend to give importance to physical appearances more than we did before. They all strive hard to aim for the perfect, younger looking skin. Our face is one of the most delicate parts of our entire skin and by far the most valued that’s why some people would not hesitate to spend for its benefits. Some may even put their face at the mercy of surgical procedure just to lessen, if not eliminate fine lines. Consumers of today even made this business a profitable industry.

What we need to understand is that our skin ages along with us. However, due to some environmental and internal factors sometimes it ages before we do. The face would be the perfect target for skin aging. Why? It is simply because our skin ages more on surfaces that has more exposure to harmful substances like damaging chemicals and the sun’s detrimental UV rays. Most wrinkles would show on areas of the body where sun exposure is the most. These include our face, back, neck, and the backs of our hands.

There are two types of wrinkles – fine surface lines and deep furrows. Tons of wrinkle creams and minor treatments in general are available in reducing fine lines and most o f them are effective this way. However, deeper furrows and creases would require a more aggressive approach; the most common ones are botox, face lift, and even plastic surgery.
We all know that wrinkles naturally come with aging, and there is absolutely no way for us to stop skin wrinkles, but there surely are ways for us to delay its appearance.

Wrinkles are caused by changes all around us, but the most common is sun damage sometimes referred to as photoaging which makes the skin really rough and dry. It can also cause sagginess and growths of liver spots.

Factors Promoting Wrinkles:

True, some of these factors are beyond our control. However, it doesn’t mean that if our families wrinkle more, we too would wrinkle as much. Dermatologists nowadays, offer preventive measures rather than finding a cure or better yet going under the knife. Believe it or not, there are easier ways that can be done almost anywhere and anytime that can greatly protect your skin against premature aging and that’s to moisturize and protect.

After cleansing your face thoroughly, be sure to moisturize. Moisturizers do your skin good. They are even the most prescribed cure for skin damage by most dermatologists. They act as a lubricant thus replenishing your skin of the lost moisture making it feel and look younger and healthier.

We cannot say that there will come a time that people will develop a wrinkle free skin care. Wrinkles are part of our transition and the best thing for us to do is accept that they will someday exist. That’s why it is best to take care of your skin while you’re still young and benefit from added years of a wrinkle-free face.
